The Dobsons team are celebrating after winning the award for Family Business of the Year at the Inspiring Herts Awards 2019. The awards which cover the whole of Hertfordshire were launched in 2012 to focus on, and celebrate, the expertise, achievements and outstanding contribution that businesses and individuals make to the growth of the county.
Dobsons, a luxury kitchen, bathroom and glazing company, based in Cheshunt, saw off tough competition from the other 6 nominees in their category to take the prize, with judges remarking that Dobsons had shown how to stay relevant and move with the times as a business whilst still staying true to their core family values.
Director Helen Dobson, who attended the awards ceremony on 13th at St Albans Cathedral said “It was a huge surprise and honour for us to receive this award, we are very proud to be a 4th generation family business and its fantastic to have been recognised for our achievements in this way, our whole team are delighted”
