We are delighted to announce that we’ve been shortlisted as a finalist in the Bathroom Showroom of the Year category of the kbbreview Retail & Design Awards.
The kbbreview is the bathroom, bedroom and kitchen industry’s leading trade magazine and has been running these awards for the past 27 years. These prestigious awards are designed to celebrate the very best industry players, so we’re beyond thrilled to have made it to the final.
This year, the judging criteria included how each company responded to the pandemic, including how well companies adapted to the uncertainties that were brought in its wake, how they managed during the lockdowns, and what COVID-safe measures were implemented with regard to showrooms. Judges were also looking at the ‘usual’ criteria, such as the look of the displays, innovation and initiative, use of available space, the customer journey and the housekeeping. All of these elements are important, especially when you take into account the luxury nature of our offering.
As part of the judging process, we also had to do a short presentation and Q&A session to a panel of judges. This year, this was over Zoom, of course, but it’s still nerve-wracking to put across everything we’re proud of in such a short space of time!
We have to wait until September to find out if we’re winners (fingers crossed). The award organisers have planned a glittering black-tie dinner in Liverpool, and we’re really hoping that it will be able to go ahead so we can celebrate in person!
