Another Year of Transformations

2017 saw Dobsons undertake a huge range of projects, both large and small; from installing new kitchens into a brand new glazed extension, replacing timber windows in a conservation area and re-configuring bathroom layouts, to smaller kitchen makeovers, shower replacements and a myriad of new front doors and windows. We continue to expand our portfolio of completed projects, sharing the pride and satisfaction of the transformation with the homeowners themselves and are always delighted to meet new clients who walk into our Cheshunt showroom and leave full of inspiration and ideas.

As we pause for Christmas and a well-earned rest, let’s take another look back at some of the kitchens, bathrooms, glazed extensions and windows and doors that were designed and installed by our team. You can click on each picture to see more photos from the project and details about the installation. We look forward to many more successful transformations in 2018, perhaps including your own home?

One of our first major projects of 2017 was this spacious Orangery glazed extension in Cuffley, which not only impressed the homeowners, but also won an Installation of the Month award.

This project in Braughing was one of the first bathroom installations we completed in 2017, undertaking a complete redesign and installation of an ensuite and cloakroom.

The second part of the project was this contemporary cloakroom, featuring Utopia oak furniture.

A large project in the spring was the replacement of timber windows in this large Barnet home. The new cream Barnsdale timber windows transformed the look of the home, whilst providing greater energy and security performance and with less maintenance required.

One of our next projects was this modern handle-less Crown Furore kitchen, designed and installed in Broxbourne. It features innovative Neff appliances and stylish Corian worktops.

Next up is one of our biggest bathroom projects of the year, as we transformed two bathrooms in Theydon Bois. This shower room underwent a dramatic change, unrecognisable from the original cramped and dysfunctional space. Click on the image for a full look at the transformations.

Another major project was this glazed extension and kitchen undertaken during the summer in Hertford. Panoramic bi-fold doors seamlessly link the garden with the new Stoneham Edwardian French Grey kitchen, whilst the large roof lantern floods the new space with natural light.

As part of the same project, we also installed this cleverly designed shower room, maximising the available space to provide the clients with the additional showering area they wanted, instead of a utility room.

Another summer project saw us transform this Stansted Abbots home with MasterFrame sliding sash windows, French Doors and a new front door.

This elegant family bathroom in Cheshunt was also undertaken over the summer and features a statement rolltop bath and sleek Villeroy & Boch furniture and WC, for a beautiful minimalist look.

We finish with two kitchens, the first is this contemporary Stoneham Flow High Gloss White & Dove Grey kitchen with Silestone Quartz worktops in Cheshunt.

Last but not least, we come to this beautiful traditional Stoneham Penhurst Painted kitchen, designed by our expert team and installed by our fitters in Hertford Heath. It is perfectly complemented by Granite worktops and innovative Neff appliances.
