Green Painted Shaker Kitchen & Utility

Our clients came to us looking to redesign their existing kitchen as its current layout didn’t work for them.
For the furniture, our clients fell in love with the colour ‘Cardroom Green’ from Stoneham’s Edwardian painted shaker range, with its beautiful calming tones, and this was used throughout.

One of the key design features of this installation was the concept of recessing the tall appliance and storage cupboards into the customer adjacent garage to provide more function to the kitchen without reducing the available space in the room.  To carry out this work the existing kitchen wall had to be knocked down and steelwork installed to support the wall above, then a new timber studwork opening was created to perfectly suit the new furniture giving this beautiful flush finish.

The before photo shows just how must difference this makes to the kitchen in maximising the previous ‘dead’ space.  The ‘Snowy Ibiza’ Quartz worktops selected look crisp against the ‘Cardroom Green’ painted shaker furniture and the Karndean wood effect flooring softens the look.

Our client wanted to have the option to cook both on induction and gas therefore a Neff domino gas hob, alongside a four-zone induction hob, was the perfect solution.Leading off from the kitchen is the utility room for which the same furniture and worktops were used to create a seamless look which ties the two rooms together beautifully.
