We are delighted to be announced as a finalist in the Inspiring Herts awards in the category of Family Business of the Year.
The awards are run by the Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce and were launched in 2012 to focus on, and celebrate, the expertise, achievements and outstanding contribution that businesses and individuals continually make to the growth of the county.
The family business award celebrates the unique dynamic of a family business and what they bring to the marketplace. Usually this is a more personal and friendly retail experience as well as a business that is incredibly passionate about what they do and prioritize customer service above everything else.
To be considered for this award we had to submit a detailed entry detailing our success as a business and how we have continued into the 4th generation of the Dobsons family, an achievement that only 3% of family businesses manage. We also had to detail our company’s ethos and our plans to take the business forward into the next generation of the family.
The winner will be announced at a Gala dinner at St Albans Cathedral on 13th June, so we very much look forward to that event and will keep everything crossed!
